Backstory
Shana is a demon born in the Outer Realm. She grew up in a strict cult where discipline and rules matter above all else. She never managed to fit in, too friendly and chaotic for her own kind. Wanting freedom, she ends up stealing her mother’s summoning ritual to bring herself into the Registered Realm. Now labelled an illegal demon, she's left trying to figure out where, and with whom, she belongs. That is, until she crosses paths with Eilyn, who reluctantly takes her under her wing and introduces her to the world of witchcraft.

Backstory
Eilyn was turned into a vampire at a young age, leaving her almost emotionless except for a quiet anger and a constant need for blood she deeply resents. Despite this, she once loved someone. With her partner, she built a business handling illegal magic and necromancy. After her partner died, she was left alone, barely getting by, until a job led her to Shana’s summoning. When the authorities offered money to take in that illegal demon, she accepted out of necessity.
Jaded and withdrawn, Eilyn masks her loneliness and longing for connection with a deep contempt for the world. She would never admit it, but Shana has slowly begun to soften her edges.

Backstory
Celeste is a living doll created by a government organization to regulate illegal magic and supernatural activity. To the public, she is a beloved opera singer admired throughout the Registered Realm. In reality, her voice was engineered to control, restrain, and destroy when ordered. She spent most of her life carrying out those orders without question, eliminating targets, including innocents. Over time, she rose within the organization, no longer just a tool but someone who acts on her own will. Now, she coldly continues to do what she was made for, remaining trapped in the role chosen for her. But with each passing year, she grows more resentful of this role and the people who created her.
